Bio and Research InterestsKamyar Kaviani majored in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UC Berkeley. He loves programming and designing cool websites. His research interests include medical applications of signal processing, machine learning, and control such as neural and brain machine interfaces. At the CoolClimate Network, Kamyar was the lead programmer for the initial phase of the international version of the CoolClimate Carbon Calculator. He was responsible for designing and implementing new features as well as database engineering and user management systems. In addition, he maintained and improved our existing web-based CoolClimate tools.
